Chemical reactions of 2,5-dimercapto-1,3,4-thiadiazole (DMTD) with metallic copper silver, and mercury
Article Abstract:
The study of the reactions between 2,5-dimercapto-1,3,4-thiadiazole (DMTD) and metallic copper, silver, and mercury under conditions is presented. The results concluded that DMTD could react readily with metallic copper, silver, and mercury under mild conditions.

Luminescent blinking from silver nanostructures
Article Abstract:
The intrinsic luminescence properties of silver nanostructures are investigated. It is shown that silver structures may be preferable as labels or probes as compared to gold structures due to the difference in their luminescent properties.

Properties of silver clusters adsorbed to silver bromide
Article Abstract:
Density functional calculations of the properties of silver cluster interacting with a fragment of silver bromide are presented. The calculations showed a deep electron trap depth for the silver atom during photolysis.
