Effects of polymerization media on the nanoscale conductivity and current-voltage characteristics of chemically synthesized polyaniline films
Article Abstract:
A current sensing atomic force microscope was used to probe the conducting homogeneity and band structures of fully doped polyaniline (PANI) films prepared from in situ chemical polymerization/deposition of aniline on indium tin oxide in various inorganic acids. Fluctuations in conductivity were observed in all-acid doped PANI films, while the conductivity homogeneity was dependent on the film thickness.

Nanoscale electrical conductivity and surface spectroscopic studies of indium-tin oxide
Article Abstract:
The variation of the local interfacial conductance of indium-tin oxide (ITO) thin film, before and after oxygen plasma etching is studied using conducting atomic force microscopy. The oxygen plasma is effective in removing the insulating layer thus increasing the conductance and improving the uniformity.

In2S3 nanocolloids with excitonic emission: In2S3 vs. CdS comparative study of optical and structural characteristics
Article Abstract:
Stable aqueous colloids of 2-3 nm In2S3 nanocrystals are prepared by using the classical method of nanoparticle stabilization by low molecular weight thiols. The result indicates that nanoparticles from indium sulfide can be successfully prepared in a form of stable redispersable colloids.
