Formation of silver nanoparticles under structured amino groups in pseudo-denditric poly(allylamine) derivatives
Article Abstract:
The synthesis of silver nanoparticles is prepared by direct reduction of metal salt with NaBH4 in the presence of pseudo-dendritic polymers poly(ethyleneiminated) poly(ally-lamine) (PAA(EI)n) and comparable polymers poly(allylamine)(PAA) is presented. Results show that poly(ally-lamine) provides poor stabilization leading to agglomeration of nanoparticles, however poly(ethyleneiminated) poly(ally-lamine) show excellent protecting effects.

A computer simulation study of silver-gold cluster formation on AgBr tabular microcrystals with AglBr cores
Article Abstract:
Computer simulation is used to study the way an iodobromide core in an AgBr tabular microcrystal affects the efficiency of photoinduced metal cluster formation. The result reveals that in large microcrystals, which may suffer from excessive recombination, even the less than hoped for maximum effect of iodide seems to provide a decrease in recombination and an efficiency advantage.

Molecular dynamics study of polarizable ion models for molten AgBr
Article Abstract:
Three different polarizable ion models for molten AgBr were studied by molecular dynamics simulations. The results of using the PIM1, the PIM1s, and the rigid ion model (RIM), are compared for the static structure and ionic transport properties.
