Mechanism of strong luminescence photoactivation of citrate-stablized water-soluble nanoparticles with CdSe cores
Article Abstract:
CdSe and CdSe@CdS semiconductor nanocrystals are synthesized in aqueous solutions, using sodium citrate as a stabilizer. Although initially these quantum dots display photoluminescence with very low quantum yields, upon prologed illumination with visible light, enhancements up to 5000% are measured.

Full-color emission from In2S3:Eu(super 3+) nanoparticles
Article Abstract:
Observations on the luminescence of In2S3 and europium-doped In2S3 nanoparticles are presented. The resulting full-color emissions from these nanoparticles are also examined.
