Bifunctional nanostructure of magnetic core luminescent shell and its application as solid-state electrochemiluminescence sensor material
Article Abstract:
Bifunctional nanoarchitecture is developed by combining the magnetic iron oxide and the luminescent Ru[(bpy).sub.3.sup.2+] encapsulated in silica. The sensitive and stable Ru[(bpy).sub.3.sup.2+] electrochemiluminescence (ECL) sensor has shown a wide linear range, high sensitivity and good stability.

Controlled and reversible aggregation of biotinylated gold nanoparticles with streptavidin
Article Abstract:
Biotinylated gold nanoparticles were prepared by using a two-step surface modification procedure. First, a carboxyl-terminated alkanethiol was chemisorbed onto the surface of gold nanoparticles in the presence of a stabilizing agent.
