Integrated single-walled carbon nanotube/microfluidic devices for the study of the sensing mechanism of nanotube sensors
Article Abstract:
A method is developed to fabricate integrated single-walled carbon nanotube/microfluidic devices, which could be used to directly prepare nanotube thin film transistors within the microfluidic channel. The results show that the sensing signal came from target molecules absorbed on or around the nanotubes, in a sensor based on a nanotube thin film field effect transistor.

Data storage on nanowire transistors with self-assembled porphyrin molecules
Article Abstract:
The nanoscale memory devices based on nanowire field effect transistors with self-assembled redox-active molecules are demonstrated. The co-chelated porphyrin yields pronounced hysteresis in the I-V(sub g) sweeps, so the metal ions in the prophyrin molecules play a key role for the observed memory effects.

Efficient synthesis and electronic studies of core-shell nanowires based on colossal magnetoresistive manganites
Article Abstract:
The pulsed laser deposition process in the synthesis of colossal magnetoresistive MgO/LaCaMnO3 and MgO/LaSrMnO3 core-shell nanowires is studied. Metal-insulator phase transitions and pronounced colossal magnetoresistance are observed in both LaCaMnO3 and LaSrMnO3 nanostructures.
