Polyamidoamine dendrimers-assisted electrodeposition of gold-platinum bimetallic nanoflowers
Article Abstract:
Novel Au-Pt bimetallic flower nanostructures fabricated on a polyamidoamine dendrimers-modified surface by electrodeposition are presented. The spectroscopic results have shown that the content of Au element is higher than that of Pt element in the nanoflowers and that the bimetallic nanoflowers-modified electrodes displayed significant electrocatalytic activities toward oxygen reduction.

DTF and in situ EXAFS investigation of gold/ceria-zirconia low-temperature water gas shift catalyst: Identification of the nature of active form of gold
Article Abstract:
A study to investigate the nature of the active form of gold in oxide supported gold catalysts for the water gas shift reaction is performed. The study found that even with a low loading gold catalyst the fraction of the ionic gold under water gas shifts conditions is below the limit of detection by X-ray absorption near-edge structure (XANES).
