Systems in Action: Candidates and Copiers
Article Abstract:
Two Minolta Beta 450Z photocopiers saved the day at the 1984 Iowa Democratic Party Caucus. At the end of the Caucus the copiers ran non-stop for nine hours, copying the voting results for distribution. The information, received in various sizes, could be reduced or enlarged so that output was collated and distributed on uniform eight and one-half by eleven-inch paper. The results were also easy to organize into booklet form.
