When integrated with the Exxon Business Support Systems, the Exxon 750 Professional Workstation can provide decision support applications such as graphics, spreadsheets, and windowing. Features of the 750 include floppy disk and hard disk storage, 8- bit and 16-bit processing, and 512K to one megabyte main memory. The Exxon 8400 Series controller provides communication capability for electronic mail plus scheduling management, searching, and UNIX operating system access.

The automated system-training feature, in which the system makes decisions with a minimum of human intervention, is called 'Autotrain'. The compact package starts at $34,500, a price cut of fifty-one per cent from the company's former systems.
