More Employee Movement
Article Abstract:
According to a recent survey by Merrill Lynch Relocation Management, major corporations increased activity in relocation of employees by more than thirty-four percent in 1984. The increase in transfer activity is a sign of the strength of the U.S. economy. The outlook for 1985, according to companies surveyed, is that relocation volume will stay the same as 1984 or increase. Most companies are providing relocated employees with assistance in selling their homes and helping spouses find jobs.
