The 'Managerial Attitude Toward Office Supplies' study enlisted responses from 120 executives of Fortune 500 companies. The purpose of the study was to determine purchasing methods and managerial opinions about the importance of the quality of supplies. Seventy-five per cent replied that they believed the quality affected their staff's productivity, and sixty per cent believed it affected the productivity of other executives. Eighty per cent order by brand name.
