Article Abstract:
A customized order processing system was designed for Wood Metal Industries of Kreamer, Pennsylvania by consultants from Standard Register Co. of Dayton, Ohio. A manual system was replaced with a series of four different continuous forms, continuous pressure-sensitive labels and a forms management and inventory control program. The company reduced costs by $12,000 in forms alone over the first year the new system was in operation.

Article Abstract:
The Automated Collection System was developed by GC Services for use in Internal Revenue Service collections. It is also used for collecting guaranteed student loans and overdue parking ticket fines. It is based on an integrated data base and automatic call distributor. Calls are automatically prioritized and directed through the least expersive phone route.
