LCD driver changes pixel polarity
Article Abstract:
Sharp Corp's (Japan) LH168R LCD driver offers the capability to alternately change and restore the polarity of all pixels with the use of a dot-reversal driving system. Shadows and flickering between adjacent pixels are eliminated with the use of the dot-reversal driving technology. The driver's capability to accommodate displays of 16.77 million colors and 256 gray scales makes it suitable for big XGA and SXGA-mode color LCDs.
