Help-desk software vendor Bendata is introducing a new set of software tools called the Signature Series which is aimed at helping help-desk managers run their support operations more efficiently. The Signature Series is designed to automate the job of the management layer, contrary to existing software tools that are designed to assist the front-line employee. The product features several modules, at the center of which is the Process Design Engine that defines the process of the specific help- desk operation.

Inference's CasePoint WebServer 2.1, meanwhile, has been enhanced with Inference Find, an intelligent meta-search tool for Web content.
