The low-cost personal radio communicator has caught the eye of the buying public. These hands-free communicators reach one-half mile and operate in the 49MHz band. They are available two ways - as a body pack transceiver and as a self-contained unit. They are gaining in popularity particularly in the sports areas.

Clock Radio-Telephones Highlight LeTel's New Line

LeTel Electronics introduced a line of clock radio-telephones at the 1984 Summer Consumer Electronics Show (SCES). Three models were featured. The low end of the line, the 8010, is a tone- pulse switchable unit. The top-of-the-line model 8030 has a two-way speaker system.

Sony Tape Radio Ads Can "Capture" Sounds
