3 evolutions are on CRM horizon
Article Abstract:
While the aim of direct marketing has not changed, the way it is carried out has changed drastically in the last 25 years. All work, mailing and compiling of lists was done manually then, but today the scene has changed. With extensive use of computers and consumer databases, companies now prefer the targeted direct mailing approach rather than mass mailing. More changes will probably happen in the future, especially with the enforcement of the no-call and anti-spam legislation. Some of these predicted changes have been discussed.
