Bill Hoerschegen feels that proper maintainance of pumpout stations will help keep the water clean. He has therefore come up with a new program for pumpout repair, which will solve boaters problems and not lead to further decline of the local population.His future goals and the services he provides for marine operators has been discussed.

Marine industry in Florida has survived hurricane Ivan in 2004 and will survive all its successors as well. The implications of the recent storms for the marinas based in Louisiana and Mississippi are discussed based on the experiences of those who have been through the devastation caused by hurricane Ivan.

Insurance companies are not offering insurance coverage to boating owners and dealers in Florida region. Hurricanes which devastated the region last year are said to be the key factor behind this approach.
