Quokka drops sailing site
Article Abstract:
The critically-acclaimed QuokkaSailing.com Web site is no longer in existence after Quokka Sports, the struggling San Francisco Internet company, shut down the site since it is undergoing a massive restructuring. Quokka would realign its operations to maximize its core capabilities and reduce costs. Its stock, which once peaked at $15 per share, is currently trading at 15 cents per share. All that remains on its Web site is a picture of a boat and the word, 'Sailing into the sunset.'
