California trio crafts a striking design
Article Abstract:
California builder Tim Alexander, designer Ade Collie and landscape architect Rick Katzmaier have collaborated with a winning design for the Westwind community in Del Rey Beach in Los Angeles, CA. The three designed the community to contain landscaped areas accessible to the public. The houses have a Mediterranean motiff which featured symmetrical, formal and simple design elements reminiscent of the architecture in Provence, France. The houses are also mostly two- to three-storeys high. Meanwhile, the exterior landscape incorporated the features of a European estate garden.
