Canada's Maxxcom buys another agency in U.S
Article Abstract:
Canadian marketing communications group Maxxcom Inc has bought full- service agency Mackenzie Marketing through its Minneapolis subsidiary, Colle & McVoy Inc. Mackenzie Marketing was established in 1997 by Andrew and Julie Mackenzie and counts Bank One, American Express and US Bancorp among its clients. It has a staff of 35 employees and expects to post billings of $8.5 million in 2000. On the other hand, Colle & McVoy offers services such as advertising, direct response, sales promotion, market research and public relations.

CooperCockerham buys fulfillment house
Article Abstract:
CooperCockerham Inc, a direct marketing agency headquartered in High Point, NC, has acquired Collateral Reach Inc, a provider of volume direct mail, data management, information distribution and interactive communications. Terms of the deal were not disclosed, but Collateral Reach will keep its name and a staff of 12 will not be trimmed. With its purchase of Collateral Reach, CooperCockerham will be able to offer fulfillment and distribution services.
