Direct Media to offer National Geographic file
Article Abstract:
The National Geographic Society has engaged the services of Direct Media Inc (DMI) for the rental of the former's subscription list to marketers. The list contains 2.6 million active book buyers, 490,000 active video buyers and 265,000 active catalog buyers. The files have enhanced with Acxiom's IB Consumer data, allowing DMI to offer psychological, demographic and lifestyle profiles. DMI also manages National Geographic's Traveler and Adventure list files.

ClientLogic debuts Explore file

ClientLogic Specialists Marketing Services has been chosen as list manager for the Explore magazine file of 36,000 active subscribers. Explore is an educational periodical geared for children between ages nine to fourteen. Parents subscribing to Explore have average household incomes of $65,000, with 90% having gone to college, and 60% having their own homes. The base price for the magazine file has been pegged at $110 per thousand.

ClientLogic Specialists picks up Rodale package insert programs

Rodale has outsourced the fulfillment of package insert programs for its various periodicals to ClientLogic Specialists Marketing Services. The insert program will previously done inhouse at Rodale. ClientLogic will handle package inserts for Rodale Women's Book; Men's Health Book and Magazine; Prevention Health Book and Magazine; Organic Gardening; Rodale Sports; Spanish Book; and Canadian Book. Base price for the programs range from $65 to $70 per thousand.
