Former Leon Henry consultant convicted

Leon Henry Inc, the Scarsdale, NY-based list and insert management and brokerage company, has won a court case against former technology consultant Peter MacDonald in Jun 2000. MacDonald, hired by the company to develop a customized billing program, has been found guilty of nine counts of felony for planting two computer programs that led to the deletion of accounts payable records in Apr 1997, and Nov 1998. Sentencing has been set for Sep 6, 2000, and MacDonald could face a prison term of as much as 14 years.

Ex-consultant sentenced for computer crimes against Leon Henry

Leon Henry Inc's former technology consultant Peter MacDonald was sentenced in early Oct 2000 for computer-related crimes against the Scarsdale, NY-based company. State Supreme Court Justice Daniel Angiolillo found MacDonald guilty of grand larceny, computer tampering and falsifying business records in June. MacDonald was sentenced to six weekends in jail, five years' probation, 100 hours of community service and $35,000 in damages.
