Experian, Fiderus team on privacy compliance
Article Abstract:
Experian, a data services company, and Fiderus, a privacy consulting firm, in May 2001 teamed up to help businesses comply with privacy laws and manage customer relationship. The major part of the partnership involves financial firms' compliance with the Gramm-Leach-Bliley (GLB) Financial Privacy Act. Fiderus will assess businesses' privacy practices focusing on compliance with GLB. Then the two companies will form and implement a Privacy Notification Service using Experian's proprietary data integration technology.

Experian, Forrester team to reach techie consumers

Experian and Forrester Research Inc has launched Technology Enthusiasts, a mutually developed segmentation tool to link technology marketers with technologically savvy consumers. To construct the Technology Enthusiasts models, Experian matches Forester survey data to its Insource consumer marketing database. Using Forrester's Technographics research database of consumer surveys adn Experian's consumer data, Technology enables marketers to reach consumers most likely to engage in hi-tech pursuits.
