Direct Media nears agreement to split
Article Abstract:
Direct Media (DM) founder and chairman Dave Florence said a deal to sell the business-to-business division of the mailing list company to its management is close to being reached. The consumer division, which represents around half of DM's business, is likely to remain with Acxiom Corp, the Conway, AR-based data-services giant. Florence said the plan is to first reorganize the consumer division before negotiating its acquisition from Acxiom.
