Impower Inc of Princeton, NJ, has established a new office in Stamford, CT, which increases the number of its branches to four. The new branch will be headed by Deirdre Castrellon as account manager and Mark Zilling as VP of business-to-business markets. Both have worked as executives for Direct Media. Impower's three other offices are located in Corte Madera, CA, Peterborough, NH, and New York.

The ads, which offer opportunities for clients to track anything, are served through Web advertising auditor Interadnet Inc's ad server. Interadnet is testing the technology with its healthcare clients which include Biogen, Quintiles Transnational Corp and Glaxo Wellcome.

Hickory Farms aids cancer group

Hickory Farms Inc, a specialty food merchant based in Maumee, OH, has teamed up with the National Alliance for Breast Cancer Organization (NABCO) to raise customer awareness during the National Breast Cancer Awareness Month in Oct 2000. To accomplish its objective, the company is selling a basket called the Gift of Hope in its catalog and on its Web site. The basket is full of gourmet foods, such as fruits, truffles, teas and jellies, that costs $49.99. Hickory will donate $5 of the purchase to NABCO.
