Hinckley is tripling size of plant to meet demand

Motorboat builder Hinckley Co announced that it will triple the size of its manufacturing facilities to accomodate the huge demand for its two waterjet boat products, the 36-ft Picnic Boat and the 44-ft Talaria. The company will add three new buildings to its existing plant in Trenton, ME, where the two boat models are currently being assembled. The three buildings will add an additional 59,500 sq ft of manufacturing space to the facility's floor space of 27,608 sq ft.

Rocheleau retires from Attwood
Article Abstract:
Dan Rocheleau announced that he is retiring from marine accessories firm Attwood Corp after 30 years. Rocheleau was a former chairman of the National Marine Manufacturers Assn. He started in Attwood as an advertising manager, became sales manager of the marine product line in 1968 and was promoted to vp and general manager in 1972. In his 30-yr career with Attwood, Rocheleau participated in Attwood's sales growth from less than $3 million to over $80 million today.
