Pitney Bowes study: people prefer snail mail
Article Abstract:
A study revealed that many people still prefer to receive traditional mail rather than e-mail. The study found that while e-mail access had increased to 53% of households in Feb 2001, from 34% in Mar 2000, 93% of the 1,009 households surveyed preferred to receive financial documents and information via traditional mail. Also, 73% of the households prefered receiving product anouncements and promotional mailings by traditional mail.
