New Web site helps target Hispanics

Los Angeles, CA-based InternetMercado.com is planning to launch LaBolsita.com on Apr 4, 2001. The Web site will feature a weekly e-mail newsletter with a bilingual interface that will offer online coupons, specials and promotions. InternetMercado.com is a provider of direct marketing solutions that are aimed at Hispanics in cities with large Hispanic populations. It is adding the online version to its door-to-door distribution program that involves hanging little yellow bags, called La Bolsita, filled with clients' marketing materials on consumers' doorknobs.

Roving Software offers rewards program

Needham, MA-based Roving Software has begun a Web affiliate marketing program in which it will pay Web developers to introduce its e-mail marketing software, Constant Contact, to their customers. Roving Software will pay affiliates $1 per trial user and $25 to $50 for each paying customer. Constant Contact is a Web-based e-mail marketing tool that lets small to mid-sized businesses increase their prospect lists and retain customers with promotions, newsletters and updates.

Arena Football draws up online game plan
