Northwest Airlines Inc has launched a multimedia e-mail campaign to support the company's new WorldPerks Mall/Fly Free Faster promotion to different segments of its opt-in database. The campaign began on Feb 8, 2001, with e-mails sent for about two days afterward. It generated a 28% click-through rate and helped increase traffic 244% at the WorldPerks Web site within the campaign's first week.
