A secure email identity reduces span and lets reputation systems and accreditation makes senders accountable by avoiding sender anonymity. Sender ID was developed by Microsoft using Sender Policy Framework. MicrosoftEs intellectual property claim to Sender ID technology was objected to and development of a secure email identity is in progress.
