Sitel to open Swedish contact center
Article Abstract:
Sitel is planning to open a third contact enter in Sweden to serve the Scandinavian market for clients such as Ace Insurance, Hotel Express, Swissair/Sabena and Microsoft. The center will be located in Eskilstuna and will employ 50 people initially, bringing sitel's Swedish work force to 330. Sitel does not plan to expand the Scandinavian site into a center for doing business across the Gulf of Finland in the Baltic count ries, northeastern Poland and Russia's St Petersburg region.

Content will cover all sports news from national events, such as major league soccer, to regional and local sports. News and comment will be provided by sportswriters, experts and practitioners. Becker is not bothered by the harsh online advertising climate in Germany, saying that sports-themed materials remain in great demand and draw correspondingly high advertising budgets.

Ola Ahlvarsson is out to make Sweden a major Web player
Article Abstract:
Ola Ahlvarsson plans to bring more US Internet companies to Europe and simultaneously launch them in eight or 10 countries through his company Result Venture Knowledge International, a consulting and Web idea- generating company in Sweden. Result Venture has already launched 32 dot- com companies and owns 14 of them. Ahlvarsson also firmly believes that Stockholm is an ideal site for developing new Internet businesses because of its abundance in venture capital resources.
