BTB now able to 'Ask Jeeves'

Computer software firm Ask Jeeves Inc has initiated its first business-to- business (BTB) marketing campaign to promote its Ask Jeeves' business solutions. Its highly popular consumer site will launch its initial BTB direct mail campaign on May 9, 2000. Ask Jeeves vp of marketing Dan Hellier said 500,000 mail pieces will be sent to senior executives, business development and Web department officials of medium- to large-size businesses in the Fortune 2000.

The software is intended to increase Web site revenues, profits and customer loyalty.
