Waste audit helps builder manage better
Article Abstract:
The Greater Toronto Home Builders' Assn has created a booklet which outlines a waste auditing program for builders. This program stresses the need to determine the wastes produced and the costs that they incur and entails the monitoring of waste materials over a certain period of time. This would allow builders to indicate the amount of waste using a construction waste audit chart. However, the waste auditing program may pose problems for big builders who will have to track several projects and may take several months to do so.
