The opening of 330,000 new jobs in California in 1994 to mid-1995 reflect the country's improving economy. According to UCLA Business Forecasting Project's report, around 190,000 more jobs will be opened in the housing industry in the coming year. This opens big opportunities for companies which were hard hit by the recession. With the start of a new season, the housing industry is expected to face new challenges such as providing affordable high-value homes in a competitive market.

Industry rebound continues for third year
Article Abstract:
The manufactured housing industry continued its strong showing for the third straight year, with total sales expected to reach over 310,000 units in 1994. Moreover, the Manufactured Housing Institute predicts that sales for 1995 will exceed 325,000. The strong demand is spurred by the affordability and value of manufactured houses compared to site-built homes. In addition, the gradually job growth throughout the US also contributed to the increased popularity of manufactured homes.
