The service agreement should be regularly reviewed to ensure that costs are kept under control. After-care service is particularly important when running a digital copier and suppliers should be chosen with caution.

How it works

Article Abstract:

Color copiers usually use the Xerographic copying process, although some, such as Fuji's Pictrostat 300, use different technology. During the Xerographic process, light which falls on a photosensitive drum from the original results in exposed areas being electrically charged. These areas then attract magnetized toner to form a duplicate of the original. The image is fused to the paper using pressure and heat.
