A good service
Article Abstract:
All copiers, other than personal copiers, need a service contract which should be perused as carefully as the copier contract itself. Regular check-ups will ensure that minor faults are detected early as a copier with a serious problem could be out of order for weeks. The service agreement should be regularly reviewed to ensure that costs are kept under control. After-care service is particularly important when running a digital copier and suppliers should be chosen with caution.

How it works
Article Abstract:
Color copiers usually use the Xerographic copying process, although some, such as Fuji's Pictrostat 300, use different technology. During the Xerographic process, light which falls on a photosensitive drum from the original results in exposed areas being electrically charged. These areas then attract magnetized toner to form a duplicate of the original. The image is fused to the paper using pressure and heat.
