A flexible tool for model building: the Relevant Transformation of the Inputs Network Approach (RETINA)
Article Abstract:
The article introduces a tool for model building that incorporates flexibility, selective search within possible model ranges, computational simplicity, and out-of-sample forecasting capability. The tool, Relevant Transformation of the Inputs Network Approach, is applied to telephone service demand as an illustration.

Tax discounting in a high-debt economy
Article Abstract:
The high debt countries like Belgium and Italy were found evidence of tax discounting, where tax discounting seems to be time varying and increasing with the debt ratio. Whether the debt situation in a country affects the degree of tax discounting is discussed.
