A quantal response equilibrium model of order-statistic games
Article Abstract:
McKelvey and Palfrey's notion of " quantal response equilibrium" (QRE) is applied to a class of "order-statistic" coordination games. QRE was proposed as a way to allow realistic levels of uncertainty about players' strategies in noncooperative game-theoretic analyses, while retaining most of the parsimony of standard equilibrium analyses.
