Allocating lawmaking powers: self-regulation vs government regulation
Article Abstract:
A model was developed to study the trends in regulatory practices during the Progressive Era to the New Deal. It was observed that costs and impacts on social welfare are important factors in choosing between self-regulation and government regulation in industries. The advantages and disadvantages of these two regualtory processes are analyzed.

Firms facing new institutions: transactional governance in Romania
Article Abstract:
A Romanian survey was conducted to extract data to analyze the determinants of firms' strategies on transactional governance. The analysis showed that strategies do not reflect the long-term efficiency considerations.
