Annual report 1996
Article Abstract:
The highlight for the year 1996 in the European economic scene was the hosting by the Bogazici University of Istanbul, Turkey of the yearly conference of the European Economic Assn (EEA) in August. The event was well attended and registered a record number of research papers submitted. The year also saw the replacement by David Newberry of Louis Phlips as the president of the EEA.
