Antiboycott report: FY 1992 activities
Article Abstract:
Cases and law regarding US boycotts and anti-boycotting activities in 1992 are surveyed. Issues highlighted include the Arab countries boycott of Israel, efforts of the US Office of Antiboycott Compliance, enforcement of unauthorized business information transfer restrictions, illegal letters of credit, blacklisting of US firms as a result of the Arab boycott of Israel and sales of petroleum field equipment to Libya. Also discussed are Congressional efforts at antiboycott legislation and antiboycott laws in Europe.

U.S. Department of Commerce antiboycott activity in 1991
Article Abstract:
The US Department of Commerce passed anti-boycott statutory provisions in 1991. The boycott by Arab countries had a high profile during 1991. Two litigation cases were brought before the department involving anti-boycott violations. There were two enforcement agreements during 1991.

US antiboycott enforcement activity declines again in '99
Article Abstract:
Issues concerning the enforcement of US antiboycott laws are discussed. Cases which involve an Arab boycott of Israel are gradually diminishing in number, but the monitoring of deals for boycott terms will continue.
