Exact aggregation and the demand for public goods
Article Abstract:
Private aggregate demand functions can be used to obtain individualdemand prices for public goods. In addition, the existence of demand prices canresult in the construction of a cost-of-living index that shall account for private price changes and level changes in public goods. The study makes use ofthe Maler's homotheticity idea and the notion of demand interdependence postulated by Bradford and Hildebrandt.

Variance decomposition analysis of the demand for foreign money in Egypt
Article Abstract:
Egyptian monetary policy needs to take into consideration the effect of the supply of private sector foreign currency deposits when issuing stabilization policies due to the expected rate of return of foreign money. Foreign currency, is held as as a liquid asset rather than as an exchange medium.

The Industrial and Commercial Demand for Electricity under Time-of-Use Pricing
Article Abstract:
A quadratic production function is used to estimate electricity demand subject to time-of-use pricing. The production function is specified in terms of labor and electricity. The resulting model is simple and effective.
