The macroeconomic effects of the postwar baby boom: evidence from Australia
Article Abstract:
The impact of the postwar baby boom in Australia on the country's economy are examined. Results show that just like in the US, the Australian baby boom affected interest rates and inflation rates, but had no influence on unemployment rates. However, it is also argued that the macroeconomic effects of demographic change should not be be based solely on the behavior of a representative agent.

The macroeconomic implications of inequality aversion
Article Abstract:
Research shows that a higher level of aversion a social planner exhibits toward income inequality, the faster an economy converges to its steady state. Studies focused on aversion levels for cases in which inequality evolved deterministically and in which it resulted as a joint stochastic and deterministic process.
