Seaboard Farms Div, the latest entrant to the US pork industry, has manged to emerge among the top ten pork producers and processors in the country after a mere decade of operations. The company, a unit of Seaboard Corp, aleady ranks as the top pork exporter in the US. Seaboard Farms' success in overseas markets is attributed to its willingness to conform to the meat quality demanded by its foreign clients.

Carrot gold
Article Abstract:
Baby carrots owe their current popularity to brothers Mike and David Yurosek, whose company Yurosek & Son created the product because of the huge amounts of small carrots that were going to waste. The Yuroseks developed a machine to gently peeling unattractive carrots. With a mechanical bean cutter, the brothers were able to produce sleek, smooth carrots which they christened baby carrots.
