Monthly report - July 1999
Article Abstract:
The National Federation of Independent Business' Jun 1999 survey of small businesses revealed a mix of good and bad news. Some of good news are that small business capital spending and labor demand remained strong and the number hiring plans and sales figures have recovered from the dismal figures in May 1999. On the other hand, the number of reported price hikes continued to increase and earnings growth declined significantly in Jun 1999.
