Inequality and growth: why differential fertility matters
Article Abstract:
The adverse effects of income distribution in a country on its economic growth are discussed. It is observed that the poor parents opt to have more number of children to increase the household incomes and invest little in education. Consequently, the overall growth of the country gets restricted.
