Modeling aggregate liquidity
Article Abstract:
The question on whether or not the government has a role in promoting aggregate liquidity through the issuance of securities is examined. Furthermore, the adequacy of private investments in maintaining liquidity is investigated. Results indicate that government financing can only be effective in industries with one technology and where only one type of liquidity shock exists. Moreover, state-contingent funds have been found to be the most effective form of financing.

Internal labor markets: too many theories, too few facts
Article Abstract:
The competitive labor market model, where wages are associated with an individual's marginal product, remains a more popular choice over internal labor market models, which deflect external labor market impact on wages and careers. However, information economics and contract theory have raised acceptance levels for internal labor markets as second-best alternatives to contracting with partial information.
