Monetary policy under imperfect capital markets in a small open economy
Article Abstract:
The implications of alternative monitory rules and the choice of instruments and targets in a small open economy with imperfect capital markets are examined. The analyses indicate that inflation-targeting policies generate lower exchange rate volatility in the less efficient market case.
