My Party and I
Article Abstract:
The future of Britain's Social Democratic party (SDP) is explored. A Mori survey shows only four percent of those polled favoring the SDP. A merger with the Liberal Party is not supported by SDP leader, David Owen. Owen hopes to attract disenchanted Tories in the next general election. However, Owen's making a stand on every issue may alienate some of his present supporters.
