Softening competition through forward trading
Article Abstract:
Forward trading results in producers buying forward their own production to increase the equilibrium prices are evaluated. The result shows contrast in the social desirability of forward markets when tested in a simple model of price setting duopolists.

Nonlinear incentive provision in Walrasian markets: A Cournot convergence approach
Article Abstract:
The study presents Cournot convergence in a system of contingent-claims markets with moral hazard. The other agents condition their expectations on market prices, as in models of rational-expectations equilibrium with asymmetric information.
