Engineering altruism: a theoretical and experimental investigation of anonymity and gift giving
Article Abstract:
An experiment is conducted to investigate the effect of anonymity in a dictator game which has three motivations. Photographs are used to selectively reduce anonymity, but it does not allow any verbal messages through facial movement or body language.
